Moving from another host that uses the Open Collective platform.

If you are transitioning from an organization that uses the Open Collective platform, the process is relatively simple.

Moving from a host that does not use the Open Collective platform

If your project is currently with another organization that does not use the Open Collective platform, the process will depend on that organization's requirements. Please reach out to us at hello@modding.foundation for guidance on how to proceed.

In general, you will need to ensure that all financial and legal obligations with your current host are resolved before transitioning to TMF. This may include settling any outstanding debts, transferring assets, and obtaining any necessary approvals from your current host.

After the funds and any other assets are transferred to us, we will work with you to set up your project on our platform and ensure a smooth transition.

We can issue an invoice and sign agreements if needed. Our fees will apply to the funds transferred.
